I was born in 1987 and raised by a hard working single mom. I had the honor of graduating from Colegio Arubano, the University of Aruba and Tilburg University. My academic background is Master of Science in Strategic Marketing Management and I am specialized in Digital Marketing, Research and Communication for Behavioral Impact. As a seasoned marketer and entrepreneur I am now taking on a new challenge in politics to mark new borders with my knowledge, expertise and passion.
Animal wellbeing is about ensuring that our animals can live a healthy, happy life with proper care, shelter, nutrition and protection from any type of harm. We focus on meeting not only their physical, but also their emotional and social needs.
To improve animal wellbeing in Aruba, we aim to enforce a stronger animal Welfare Law, open the first Animal Welfare Center, promote responsible pet ownership through mandatory registration and invest in island wide sterilization programs. We also aim to focus on education to cultivate empathy and compassion for animals within our younger generation. Our goal is to create a more animal-friendly Aruba where both animals and people live in harmony.
Our vision is to improve the wellbeing of all animals, cultivating an empathic relationship between humans and animals. Building an animal-friendly Aruba where both humans and animals live peacefully in harmony. We aim to reduce the overpopulation of animals by 60% over the coming 5 years, ensuring that every animal has the right to live a fulfilling life, and the community takes responsibility for their well-being.
Aruba Orange Economy is centered on our cultural and creative industries like music, art, design, media, culinary arts, traditional crafts and more. We want to turn Aruba's rich culture and creative talent into economic growth, diversifying our economy and providing opportunities for our artists and creative entrepreneurs. We can promote our unique cultural identity, while also boosting economic resilience and job creation.
To develop our Aruba Orange Economy we need to update our Laws on intellectual property, tax incentives and labor to support creativity and innovation within the industry. Simplifying regulations will attract investment, while investing in our digital infrastructure will preserve and promote our culture and help grow our creative and cultural industries.
To diversify and grow our creative and cultural industries, creating our own Aruba Orange Economy. This will boost innovation, contribute 1% to 2% to GDP over 5 years, and help position Aruba as a unique island in the Caribbean. We aim to invest in creative industries that enhance our cultural heritage while promoting economic growth and preserving our identity. The Aruba Orange Economy will become an important new pillar of our national economy.
